The Blue Moon Hotel boasts over sized luxurious rooms between 320 and 750 square feet, complete with lavish bathrooms with deep tubs, some with hydro massage baths, original walnut window shutters, built-in window settees, and all with ceilings 10 to 14 feet high. All rooms are named after legends of the 1920’s and 30’s, and feature historical memorabilia and state-of-the-art heat and air with individual thermostats.
All the guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival and
all rooms get one complimentary gym pass valid for an entire day. The hotel also provides a discounted parking garage located two blocks away.

In its April 2008 issue, National Geographic Traveler cites the Blue Moon as one of the best boutique and luxury hotels in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Carribean. The magazine's list includes 150 hotels selected from 600 semi-finalists. The Blue Moon is especially honored to be one of only three New York City hotels listed by the magazine.
This hotel leads the resurgence of the landmark old downtown neighborhoods of Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, the Financial District. The hotel, an outstanding architectural structure, is centrally located on a museum block which more closely represents a back lot from MGM.
The hotel is located along cobble stone streets once occupied by push cart vendors, pickle packers, butchers, and bakers. Now, New York City’s historic past has come to life in the authentic yet modern and comfortable neighborhood hotel.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, 20 percent of all nights will be charged.

Directions from JFK International Airport:
Head north on the Van Wyck Expressway. Take the exit for the Long Island Expressway west and bear right to enter the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway. Stay on the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway and there will be a left exit for the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan. After the bridge ends, stay straight on Delancey Street. Merge onto US 1&9 North. US 1&9N becomes 12th Street. Take 12th Street through the toll booth (Boyle Plaza) then continue through the Holland Tunnel into Manhattan.
