Bucharest (“Bucurie”, Romanian for «joy») is a delightful 500-year-old city, the capital of Romania. It was named as "the Paris of the Balkans", because wide boulevards with three-lined traffic, parks with lakes, pompous public buildings, imposing monuments make an atmosphere of “Small Paris”.
