You can discover pure nature in the magnificent wide and open countryside around Grindelwald. The gentle Alpine streams accompany you as you breathe in the herbal fragrance of the lush Alpine flora. The majestic mountains of the Bernese Oberland stand guard over tranquil mountain lakes and sparkling silvery waterfalls.
The ski bus picks you up right at the hotel entrance and takes you to the valley stations of the mountain railways. This is the easiest and most convenient way to reach the winter sports arena, for alpine skiers, snow enthusiasts, ski tourists and cross country skiers.

The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the town centre, opposite the church, with one of the most beautiful views of the dramatic mountain scenery.
The ski lift is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and with the ski bus stop next to the church, you have easy access to the Männlichen and Kl. Scheidegg ski areas.
Grindelwald can be easily reached by road and rail.
Trains depart from Zurich Airport to Grindelwald, either directly to Interlaken Ost, where you change to Grindelwad, or with a change also in Bern.
By Car:
- From Basel, Zurich and Bern, take the N2, N1 and N6 motorways via Thun, and take the Grindelwald exit.
- From Lugano and Luzern, take the N2 motorway via Stans, Brünigpass and Interlaken, and take the Grindelwald exit.
