The hotel tradition in our family dates back to 1898. The cosy Hotel Continental Barcelona in a semi-classical English style is currently being refurbished and extended.
This is not a luxury hotel but our aim is to ensure that guests feel right at home in a warm, friendly atmosphere. To achieve this, one of our most highly valued services is the snack buffet, where guests can eat and drink, free of charge, at any time of the day or night, 24 hours a day. A very special, unique service.

Homely hotel situated on the upper part of the Ramblas, next to Plaça Catalunya, the heart of the city.
This is accommodation that offers a comfortable atmosphere and personable service. As well as offering you an unbeatable position from which to visit the city of Barcelona, there is also a snack buffet available 24 hours for guests. All rooms have an en suite bathroom and free WiFi internet connection.
From the Ramblas you can reach many of the most emblematic sites of the city on foot, including the Gothic Quarter, the port and Passeig de Gracia with its modernist buildings. The metro and train stops are right next to the hotel and allow you to move easily around the city and wider province.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

From our hotel, transport connections are perfect: there are underground, bus and train stations and stops within walking distance.

The hotel Continental Barcelona is located in La Rambla 138, at the top of Las Ramblas, near Plaça Catalunya.
The closest Metro station is Catalunya (lines 1 and 3) and the train station is Plaça de Catalunya, where the trains coming from the airport stop.
It is also very close to the Aerobus bus stop (the Aerobus is a shuttle bus between the airport and Plaça de Catalunya).
