This guest house with modern amenities is located in Salt Rock, 5 km north of Ballito and half an hour's drive from Durban, South Africa's premier holiday Mecca.
In the near vicinity there are shopping, recreational and restaurant facilities, but the surrounding landscape is the main attraction.
This residence houses four distinct, private en suite rooms, on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis. All of the rooms feature their own unique character in terms of style and decor, but they are all the same when it comes to the attention to detail and overall quality of the furnishings. There are also two self-catering log cabins, which offer panoramic sea views overlooking the valley below and the golden beach of Salt Rock that embraces the warm Indian Ocean.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 28 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 2 to 12 years are charged ZAR 50.00 per night for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 7 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

By Car:
The hotel is situated off the N2 toll road from Durban to Richards Bay.
- Take exit number 214 for Salt Rock and turn left over the toll road bridge.
- Head for 3 km towards the sea on Basil Hullett Drive.
- Pass the 7-eleven Superette & Salt Rock Hotel on your left and after 100 metres, take the first road on the right: Fairway Drive.
- Look out for a rubbish bin with our logo.
- 1 km up Fairway Drive turn left at the T-junction.
- Head for 200 metres towards the end of the cul-de-sac and you will arrive at number 55 Zuider Zee Guesthouse.
