Belonging to the Shishangeni Lodge, this camp is small and intimate with only five suites, painting a picture of the ‘real Africa’ as described by famous explorers in colonial times.
Beautifully situated within an extensive private concession in the south-eastern section of the world-renowned Kruger National Park, this camp is conveniently located close to all that the area offers. The nearby famous safari park contains the animals visitors to South Africa all wish to see and this camp offers plenty of opportunity to do so.
Even with such a remote position amidst a natural environment, the warmly decorated, cosy and contemporary accommodation is luxurious, sophisticated and provides modern comforts, including private decks overlooking the Mpanamana Dam, painting a masterpiece of the African landscape.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 45 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 8 years are welcome.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is refundable.

By Car:
From KMIA, the nearest airport:
- Drive to the N4 through Malelane.
- Stay on the N4 for approximately 40 km until the left turn into Komatipoort.
- Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate 8 km away.
- Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4 km and cross the Vurhami Bridge.
- Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign into a gravel road.
- Turn right at the second sign for Shishangeni Lodge, a no entry sign.
- Drive for about another 10 km. This road will take you straight to the lodge. Guests will be transferred from Shishangeni to Shawu Camp.
