Built in 1927, Barberton Manor has retained its original charm as well as adding modern amenities for the comfort of guests. Each of the suites has modern bathroom facilities and satellite TV, whilst offering a homely feel. There are lovely gardens and an outdoor swimming pool, ideal for guests to relax beside after a day of hiking.
Barberton Town is a gem of the Lowveld, which is also known as the Wild Frontier. Visitors can enjoy trekking along the hiking trails, or taking scenic drives through this beautiful and unspoiled area. They can also visit a gold mine or go bird watching. Barberton Manor House is only 60 km from Kruger National Park.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of the first night will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of the first night will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children from 0 to 10 years are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.
Internet: Wired internet is available in the business centre and costs ZAR 30.00 per hour.

There are no self-catering facilities and it is kindly requested that take-away is not eaten on the premises. Restaurants are conveniently situated just 2 minutes from the hotel, in the Central Business District.

Older than Johannesburg, Barberton Town is of great historical importance in South Africa. It hosts an archaeological museum and Barberton Indigenous Tree Park, home to over 100 species of trees.
Barberton was the home of Jock of the Bushveld and there is a statue of this much-loved Staffordshire bull-terrier in front of the Town Hall. There is also an acacia tree about 7 km out of town on the R38, where his master, Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, often rested during their walks.
The 20 km Ariel cable-way, from Barberton to the Havelock Asbestos Mine in Swaziland, is a marvel of engineering and there are lovely scenic drives around the area. There are also hiking trails lasting a few hours. There are also a good number of restaurants and entertainment facilities in the area.

By car:
- Coming from Nelspruit, follow the R40 to Barberton/Swaziland.
- Pass the Barberton sign and continue straight ahead, in the direction
of Swaziland and MediClinic.
- Turn right onto Sheba Road at the next stop/crossing.
- Coming from Gauteng, follow the N4 to Nelspruit.
- 100 metres past Milly’s Tankstop, take the turn-off to your right
(Machadodorp).
- Continue through Machadodorp to Badplaas.
- Turn left onto the R38 at the T-junction (Barberton).
- Continue for about 68 km.
- Pass the Barberton sign and continue following above directions.
- Coming from Kaapmuiden/Malelane, follow the R38 to Barberton.
- At the stop/crossing with the R40 (Nelspruit – Bulembu/Swaziland),
continue straight ahead on Sheba Road.
- The guest house is after 1500 metres on your left-hand side.
