On a small island surrounded by the Krka River lies the rebuilt Otocec Castle Hotel, offering a perfect atmosphere for weddings, parties and business meetings.
The castle was recently renovated, but kept the Gothic and Renaissance elements, creating a unique atmosphere of past times combined with the luxuries and comfort of today. A romantic dinner served by staff in medieval clothes is only one of the unforgettable events you will take part in.
The castle walls date back to 1252, and the Otocec is situated in the picturesque lush region of Dolenjska, famous for its rivers, valleys, forests and vineyards. It is only a stone's throw from the town of Novo Mesto.

If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.

The Castle Restaurant serves many different mouth-watering à la carte and seasonal dishes; there are business, wedding and medieval menus, all accompanied by first-class wines. Fresh foods of local and continental origin are being used, especially game and river fish. It is open daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
The Tango is a contemporary attractively decorated restaurant, suitable for individual visits or large group parties. Guests will enjoy tasty food and various special menus with carefully selected wines. At weekends there is music played and Tango regularly organises theme nights, food nights and other events. It is open daily from 10:00 to 23:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 01:00.
