The Utrecht Conference Hall is close to the hotel, but you could also visit the Amsterdam Conference Centre RAI or the Amsterdam Arena, home of Ajax. Schiphol is less than one hour by train.
In the immediate surroundings of the hotel, you will find beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Along the river Vecht, you will find picturesque towns like Loenen, Nieuwersluis and the old town of Maarssen. The river itself is also worth a visit, especially if you opt for an excursion by boat. The landscape is very rich and full of variation, and a lot of beautiful stately mansions can be seen here. Several small lakes, like those of Maarssenveen, Vinkenveen and Loosdrecht, offer plenty of opportunities for sports or tourist activities. Moreover, the Vecht area is also rich in history. Pay a visit to the castles of Haarzuilen and Nijenrode and you will understand why.
