Kaatjes Résidence is located in the city of Blokzijl, next to the bridge. This small luxury hotel is situated by the waterside and has a beautiful garden.
This modern, yet elegant, hotel consists of 6 rooms, one suite and a lounge, all of which feature quality furnishings. Breakfast is served in the conservatory or if the weather is good, in the terrace that backs on to the waterside. In the summer months many pleasure craft sail into the harbour to moor along the quay.
The area around the hotel is famous for its national parks which can be visited by boat or bicycle. Across the street you find the Kaatje bij de Sluis restaurant which offers you an excellent gourmet dinner.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.

In the area of Blokzijl you will find many excellent restaurants. There are 2 one Michelin starred restaurants that can be reached within 2 walk: Kaatje bij de Sluis (located on the other side of the bridge) and the Hof van Sonoy.
In the town of Giethoorn, about a 10 minute drive away, you will find the 2 Michelin starred restaurant de Lindenhof. The restaurants Prins Mauritshuis and Kommekie are also within walking distance from the hotel.
