At hotel De Maasparel you will stay in a comfortable three star room or in one of the two apartments. Would you like to sleep underneath the authentic collar beams in one of the spacious lofts or would you like a luxurious, spacious room with a sitting area? Or perhaps you would prefer to book one of the comfortable standard rooms? Our rooms are situated on the ground floor, first floor and second floor. Every room has an excellently equipped bathroom with bath or shower and toilet. The rooms have been carefully furnished and offer luxurious facilities. Every room has television, telephone and a working space with internet connection upon request.
If you would like to enjoy our hospitality for an extended period, then a stay in one of the apartments of the hotel is a good option. In the spacious apartments you will have all the privacy you need.
It has a small kitchen, a living room and of course a sleeping area with bathroom. It goes without saying that you can use all of the facilities that the hotel offers.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 3 to 12 years are charged EUR 21.00 per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 43.75 per night and person for extra beds.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

Guests of hotel-restaurant De Maasparel will be spoiled with professionally prepared meals. The recently renovated restaurant has been elegantly furnished. Sturdy wooden tables, comfortable chairs and refined table linen, atmospheric murals and the ever present stained glass windows provide a good idea about the vision of this hotel.
Meals are professionally prepared in Restaurant De Maasparel. Only fresh and honest products are used to prepare delicious (seasonal) dishes, not only according to traditional methods but in innovative ways as well. The distinctive and unique light flavour of asparagus heralds the coming of spring, while in autumn, game and mushrooms are prominently on the menu. Pastry, dessert and chocolates are important at De Maasparel. All dishes are lovingly home made and that really improves the flavour.
You can dine à la carte in the restaurant or you can choose for one of the pleasantly priced menus. Our restaurant is suitable for an intimate dinner for two as well as larger groups. We always welcome your personal wishes and suggestions.
For those who enjoy eating outside, Hotel De Maasparel sets its tables when the first sun rays arrive. We can heat and cover our terrace and this means that you can enjoy a delicious outside dinner from early spring until the very last beautiful days in autumn.
Our bar and restaurant will be closed on Mondays from 1 November 2007 till 1 March 2008.

De Maasparel is located a few steps from the Meuse River and in the centre of Arcen. Because of the rich, varying beauty of the National Park De Maasduinen and its position along the Meuse, Arcen has always been a touristic village. The attractive square Raadhuisplein with its cosy terraces, small cafés, restaurants and charming, quaint shops make Arcen a lively, yet intimate tourist spot. Did you know that the highest temperatures in The Netherlands are measured here?
Hikers and cyclists can indulge in the many routes that are plotted through De Maasduinen. Lovers of greenery and gardens will never tire of the Castle Gardens.
Because of the presence of age-old thermal mineral water, Arcen deserves the designation Bad Arcen (thermae). Just 2 km from De Maasparel you will find the Thermal Baths of Arcen, where three outdoor pools and one indoor pool of thermal mineral water form the basis for a moment of sheer relaxation. Extensive sauna facilities with delightful aromatherapy rooms, attractive relaxation areas and a brasserie will make you feel regenerated. In the beauty centre you can enjoy a relaxing massage, a body pack or a facial treatment.
Guests that fancy an alcohol beverage are sure to appreciate two venues in particular. Beer lovers are recommended to pay a visit to the Hertog Jan Brewery. For those of you who enjoy something stronger, however, the grain distillery De IJsvogel is a good suggestion. It's only a five minute walk away.
Golf players can putt a few balls at the golf centre Roobeek. This small, but very cosy golf centre has a nine hole course of par-3, two 18 hole putting greens, a chipping green and a driving range.
In the neighbouring Venlo you can enjoy a pleasant shopping trip and for the more advanced shopper Düsseldorf poses a challenge.
