Furnished in a more classic style, Classic Double rooms are intimate, comfortable, and very welcoming. These rooms can be used as single rooms.
As no two rooms in the Metropole are the same, every Classic Double Room is different. Walls are covered with fabrics in shades of red and cream and decorated with period prints or fans from the hotel's private collection. Elegant Venetian fabrics have been used for the bedspreads and super soft cushions, and the rooms are furnished with authentic pieces from various periods.
Rooms are provided with safe, mini bar, sat TV with radio, direct phone with internet access and a pleasant view over the hotel's internal courtyard garden or the canal.
