From Hotel Ideale, after a busy working day you can easily reach and enjoy Milan historical centre, the shopping and cultural area. Milan the most European Italian city offers several cultural sites; the State University, located in an ancient hospital of the XVº century with its interesting façade on the side of Via del Perdono, and the Duomo, one of the biggest gothic churches in the world, with steeples and counterforts, symbol of Milan.
Nearby you will find the classical music temple Teatro della Scala, well known all over the world. In Brera, one of the most exclusive areas, there is Pinacoteca Nazionale, where you can admire masterpieces of famous Italian artists: from Raffaello (lo Sposalizio della Vergine )to Mantegna (il Cristo morto) to Piero della Francesca (la Pala di Federico da Montefeltro) and many others. By underground, in 2 stops, you can reach Castello Sforzesco, the medieval palace of Visconti and Sforza families, and visit the magnificent ‘Last Supper” by Leonardo Da Vinci at Santa Maria delle Grazie. Via Montenapoleone and Corso Vittorio Emanuele are the most fashionable streets, but if you are looking for cheaper prices we suggest to go in Corso Buenos Aires.

By car
From highways A1 Milano – Napoli (Autostrada del Sole), or A4 Torino - Trieste or A8 Milano – Varese (Milano Laghi), after the tollbooth follow signs to “Centro” and take Tangenziale Est. Exit n. 6 “Forlanini”, turn right in Viale Enrico Forlanini and go ahead for 800 metri. Follow Viale Corsica for 1.1 km and then Corso XXII marzo for 500 metres. Turn right in Piazza Emilia, after 50 metres follow Viale Piceno for 600 metres. After 300 metres you will find viale dei Mille, go ahead for 300 metres and you will reach Hotel Ideale.
By train
From Stazione Centrale catch bus 92 stop at Dei Mille – Modena. You will find the hotel at 100 metres distance. Otherwise you might catch n. 60 (8 stops) Stop at Castel Morrone - Modena. Hotel Ideale is 200 metres away. By tram n. 5 stop in piazza Ascoli, from there you can walk for 300 metres.
You might also travel by metro yellow line, direction San Donato, first stop “Repubblica”. From here catch the train Ferrovie Nord to Bovisa and go out at the second stop “Dateo”. From Piazzale Dateo the hotel is 300 metres away.
By plane
From Milano Linate airport, catch bus n. 73, and stop in Corso XXII marzo. There you catch bus n.92 stop at Dei Mille – Modena. We are 100 metres away.
From Milano Malpensa airport take the Shuttle to Stazione Centrale. From ther you catch bus 92, stop Dei Mille – Modena. We are 100 metres away.
From Milano Orio al Serio (Bergamo), catch the bus to Lambrate station. Then catch bus 54 and stop in Corso Plebisciti, at the corner with Piazzale Dateo. We are 300 metres away.
