Il Tabacchificio is a unique example in "Salento" of the restauration of an industrial architecture.It originates from an old tobacco manufacture of the 20's and still maintains all the characteristics of that time, such as the wonderful star-vaults.The hotel is situated in the higher part of Gagliano del Capo, at 1 km from the coast and 2 km from Santa Maria di Leuca. At the restaurant "La Campate" you can taste the typical Salentine cooking.

From the main national road towards Lecce, before entering the city, take the exit "Tangenziale est", follow the main road SS 274 Lecce-Gallipoli-S.M.di Leuca. When you get to S.M.di Leuca take the exit SS. 275 Leuca-Maglie and go towards Gagliano del Capo.
The nearest airport is Brindisi "Papola Casale" and is about 110 Km from Gagliano del Capo.
