Spring Garden Hotel is located at No.11 Xisi Beiliutiao hutong, Xi Cheng District, Beijing. The Xisi Beiyitiao hutong and the XiSi Beiliutiao hutong were built in 1206 during the Yuan Dynasty. It has an 800 year history. Xisi Beiliutiao hutong was called Wei-er Hutong during the times of the Yuan Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty. The name was later changed to "Nan-Wei Hutong " during the Qing Dynasty and by 1970 it was permanently changed to Xisi Beiliutiao hutong. The hotel was a residence of the Official Minister during the Yuan Dynasty. In over 800 years, it has been through 4 different dynasties. It has been renovated once during the Qing Dynasty over 300 years ago and painstakingly renovated once again in 2005.
Chinese paintings, linens, crafts, antique, and authentic Chinese cultured pearl jewellery is displayed within the compound for your interest and is available for sale if desired.
There are approximately one hundred photos with English translations depicting Beijing (Peking) past. These include places of interest, culture, religion, and every day life in the city. There is also a staff member available to answer questions and explain the 800 years of Beijing history.
In addition to the numerous aforementioned displays, Spring Garden Hotel will feature Beijing folk-custom activities at predetermined times. As the honoured guests, you can enjoy the opportunity to both make and eat authentic Chinese dumplings, experience the art of ancient Chinese calligraphy, partake in the making of dough figurines and watch how the figures of maltose take shape. Exercise your mind and body by learning Chinese shadow-boxing (Tai Chi). Take pictures of the Peking Opera, play Mah Jong or just enjoy it all by relaxing in the courtyards while having tea.

Spring Garden Hotel is a traditionally restored Si He Yuan (a compound of houses around a square courtyard), which is representative of pure ancient Chinese culture and style.
The buildings are of the Qing Dynasty style (300 years ago), which were elevated in stature from the Yuan Dynasty beginnings of over 600 years ago. We promise that the guests can appreciate to their heart’s content the exquisiteness of the Chinese traditional culture while enjoying the living atmosphere of Chinese traditional royal court.
Free activities include free-to-taste Chinese dumplings, free-to-try opera costumes and photo taking, free fresh fruit for guests, Chinese Mahjong lesson and Chinese calligraphy lesson.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged USD 20.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged USD 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Bread, egg, ham, fruit, coffee, milk, Lipton tea, green tea, kiwi juice, peach juice and orange juice.

Steamed dumplings, steamed stuffed bun, wonton, fried bread stick, soya bean milk and bean curd soup.
The multifunctional hall is also available as a 24-hour bar.

By Car:
- Xisi Beiliutiao Hutong is located 200 metres south of the Ping'an crossroad.
By Plane:
From Beijing Capital Airport, you can take a taxi to the hotel. Just show the driver the Chinese address (中国,北京市,西城区,西四北大街,西四北六条胡同11号) or the Chinese directions (中国.北京市,西城区,平安里十字路口往南200米路西,西四北六条往西50米11号). Journey time should be around 45 minutes.
A hotel pick-up service can also be arranged for RMB 300.
By Train:
You can take a taxi from the West Railway Station (show the Chinese address or directions to the driver). Journey time should be around 20 minutes.
By Public Transport:
Take bus numbers 22 / 47 / 38 / 13 / 726 / 826 / Ping’anli Lukou’nan Station (平安里路口南).
