The Templeside Hutong Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the Subway station to easily access all of Beijing, in an old Hutong area 30 minutes walk from the Forbidden City.
The rooms of the Beijing Templeside Deluxe Hutong Hotel are in traditional Chinese style with attractive and tasteful wooden furniture. The bathroom though is in the Western style and kept very clean.
Visit the local markets or take a free tour of the traditional hutongs on a Thursday. Many tours are offered, including to the Great Wall. An easy trip is to see the Bai Ta Si White Pagoda Temple, very close by.
Breakfasts are in the Western style. There is a free Tuesday dumpling-making dinner on Tuesdays. This vibrant area is full of excellent choices for places to eat during the rest of the day, such as at the markets.
