Surrounded by mountains and forests, the Pension Waldkrieber is a small and friendly guesthouse in a beautiful location in southern Carinthia, in the immediate vicinity of Lake Pressegger and close to the Nassfeld ski area.
Run by the Allen family from Britain, the Pension offers recently refurbished, very comfortable rooms with stunning views, a sauna, a solarium, a gym, a TV lounge and a breakfast/restaurant room. Pension Waldkrieber is set in beautiful grounds with a sun terrace and garden, and there is a large car park.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 5 to 14 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
There is no capacity for cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: 10 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Half-board consists of a rich and varied continental breakfast buffet (07:30 to 09:00), including cereals, fruit salad, a cold meat and cheese platter, freshly baked bread, eggs, fruit juices, tea and coffee, and a dinner (18:30 to 20:00). This consists of a soup of the day and salad, a main course and a dessert followed by a complimentary glass of wine. Vegetarians can be catered for when advised at the time of booking.

The Pension Waldkrieber is a 5-minute drive away from Hermagor, the next town, and a 25-minute drive from Villach, with its many cafés and shopping opportunities.
The surrounding area (Gail Valley) offers a beautiful natural landscape with fantastic walking, hiking and cycling trails. Lake Pressegger, a wonderful place for swimming in summer and ice skating in winter, is only 3 minutes away. The Nassfeld ski area is 20 minutes away, with a free shuttle bus leaving a 3-minute walk away from the guesthouse.
Italy and Slovenia are only 30 minutes away and provide great opportunities for day trips.
